The LA28 Olympic Games ILCA Racing Format Test Event will be held in Vilamoura, PORTUGAL at the Marina Vilamoura hosted by the Capable Planet Club Nautico.

The purpose of the event is to evaluate a proposed race format for the upcoming 2028 Olympic Games.  The opportunity to hold this event arose only recently, resulting in the very accelerated application/registration schedule.  If you are interested in participating in this event and have submitted an application, please check your email frequently for an entry offer and respond promptly!

This is a restricted entry allocated event. Sailors wishing to enter must first complete an application form, accessible through the menu above.

Total entry for this event is limited to 43 sailors in Men's fleet and to 43 sailors in Women's fleet, like at the Olympic Games. Our intention was to have as many countries as possible competing by initially allowing each country only one entry place.  However, to date there have been fewer applications than available places and so we have released this constraint.  Submit an application & make travel plans so that we can fill this event!

Different from other ILCA events, there is no application fee.  The entry fee is EUR €150 and is non-refundable once submitted.
